Buffalo Gap Historic Village
The event kicks off with a community parade; children can enter to win prizes provided by Shades of Hope. The ceremony at the Village includes the reading of the Declaration of Independence, singing of the National Anthem by Memory Men, and the 50 States Roll Call. A fun-filled morning of family activities, games, and music follow the ceremony.
July 6-10, 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
Rock It! Science Camp for children entering third grade through sixth grade. Discover the wonders of nature with hands-on experiments. Creative your own artifacts and art projects. Fee includes all supplies, T-shirt and snacks. Fee is $80 museum member; $100 non-member.

Poised, Polished and Pretty camp to teach girls entering fourth through sixth grade lessons in confidence, grooming, party etiquette, writing notes, setting a table, how to be gracious and art projects.
