Meet three of The Abilene Zoo’s new residents: Bahari, Magic and a baby giraffe.
BAHARI THE STEENBOK
Born April 16th, Bahari is already making big leaps! This fearless young steenbok loves exploring independently. He will soon start growing his horns. You can spot this adventurous calf in the Terrace.
MAGIC THE OCELOT
Magic is a 15-year-old ocelot who arrived in Abilene in hopes of becoming a good breeding pair with Lindy. He is exploring his new surroundings and lounging high on his favorite perch. Magic is settling comfortably into life in Elm Creek.
BABY GIRAFFE
Abilene welcomed a new male calf on May 3rd to first-time mom Pele. He is a little smaller than most calves, but he is growing stronger every day under the watchful care of his keepers.
