As we approach our Boutique Bridal Event we thought you might be interested in learning a little bit about our style show models. Each will showcase a beautiful and carefully curated look so you can see some of the latest trends off the rack and in person.
Meet one of our brides, Kelly Barris. She is engaged to be married to Brent Vogler on May 13, 2016. She is a senior at Hardin-Simmons University with Major in Biology and minors in Biochemistry and Spanish and is currently working in the Emergency Department at Hendrick Medical Center. She loves to run, play volleyball, hunt, fish, ski, hike, hang out with friends and family, read, play board games, and cook. Her favorite movie of all time is Taken and her favorite flavor of ice-cream is Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. Her dream date would be to hike a mountain in Colorado with her fiancé and then afterwards get a foot massage and eat pizza while watching The Bachelor/Bachelorette.
Also modeling as a bride in our style show is Ashlyn Bussey. She is a senior at Hardin-Simmons University majoring in psychology and a minor in history. She will graduate in December with intent to continue her education and get her masters in counseling. She loves crafting, decorating, and looking for fun vintage finds, but most of all though she loves reading. She also loves having time at home in Graham out in the country where she can run around on the ranch or practice shooting. Her favorite flavor of ice-cream is rocky road and her favorite movie is either The Holiday or Pride and Prejudice. Her dream date would be if someone took her out to dinner, and then out to the country to shoot guns, followed by an evening of star gazing and having genuine and meaningful conversations.
Alexa Rae Gist will be modeling as a bride in our style show. She is engaged to Jay Grattan and is a senior, political science major at Hardin Simmons University. She loves to spend her time drinking a grande Starbucks iced coffee, exercising and studying for school or the LSAT. She also loves to spend time with her family and watching her brother Bryce Gist play baseball. Any movie with Leonardo DiCaprio is her favorite and she prefers Chocolate Chip Cookie dough ice-cream. Her dream date: “That’s a tough one. I’d have to say April 25th. Because it’s not too hot, not too cold, all you need is a light jacket.”
Hunter Jarvis will be modeling as one of our bridesmaids in the Style Show. She is a Junior at Hardin-Simmons University studying science education. She spends her time practicing with the HSU Volleyball team, crafting and loving on her Westie pup named Jock. She prefers Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough ice-cream and lists Easy A, Second Hand Lions and Into the Woods as some of her favorite movies. Her dream date would be something outdoors like camping, hiking or picnics.
