These #EventsToBeScene are what’s on my calendar for the month of April. Bikini season is around the corner, but I’m too busy attending these events to care!

ArtWalk: Cosmic Cosplay
The Center for Contemporary Arts presents this monthly, family-friendly event downtown. This month’s “Cosplay” is short for “COStumed RolePLAY,” a form of performance art that originated in Japan and has swept the world. Come walk the streets of downtown Abilene as your favorite super hero, comic book character, movie character or video game person. If you don’t want to dress up, come as yourself to see all the interesting getups!

Key City Blues Festival featuring local and area rhythm and blues artists as well as headliners that include renowned blues artists. Benefiting United Way of Abilene.

The Key City Blues festival is a local favorite. It’s certainly worth including it in your April plans.
