Abilene Preservation League honored Donna Albus at The Heritage Stewardship Awards Luncheon on May 2, 2013. Jim and Cindy McCathren were presented The Spirit of Preservation Award and twelve owners of homes built during Abilene’s first decades were honored for preserving and enhancing their historic properties. Abilene High School Seniors, Alexander Reagan, Victoria Lee and Kayli Denson along with Junior, Brendan Pope, were recognized for their work at the Historic Swenson House.
